Why do we need drugs? Drugs are any substance that, when inhaled, injected, smoked, consumed, absorbed via a patch on the skin, or dissolved under the tongue causes a physiological change in our body. Although In the Dominican republic we have a growing problem with these drugs and their effect on the people. The Dominican drug trade has increases over the Caribbean giving many job opportunities. The Dominican has become the number one drug trade site in the Caribbean. From the drugs coming straight from Colombia to all around surrounding countries. The legalization of these drugs have not been passed. The Dominican government takes drugs very seriously and anyone found with them gets time in jail ironic when they are the heart of the Caribbean drug trade.
